Blacksburg Behavioral Health
I am not accepting new clients at this time, but I am supervising doctoral student therapists at Virginia Tech Psychological Services Center and I have some excellent clinicians who have openings as of August 2025. Please reach out to the Psychological Services Center at psc@vt.edu or 540-231-6914.
At Blacksburg Behavioral Health, Adrienne Means-Christensen provides outpatient psychological services to individuals, couples, and families in Southwest Virginia. The mission of Blacksburg Behavioral Health is to help members of the New River Valley community achieve their goals of happiness and success in life.
Adrienne helps her clients find a path toward being mentally and physically healthier and happier. Adrienne works with clients to address psychological symptoms (depression, anxiety, problematic ways of coping) and to find solutions to the problems that are making them feel stressed, unhappy, or like they are on the wrong path. The process starts with a thorough assessment of current problems and continues with a collaborative approach between Adrienne and her clients to address symptoms, work through challenges, make lifestyle changes, or adjust to a new situation or way of life.
